    Conferences

The induction process encompasses meetings, cultural activities, buddy programmes and tutoring.

Induction activities will be organised throughout the year, with a particular emphasis at the beginning of each semester (clarification of the objectives, ice-breaking and cultural activities). The Winter school (during which the whole cohorts meet together for the first time) will also be key in the induction process. Special emphasis is placed on improving local language skills, which is integral to the programme’s language policy and facilitates cultural integration.

Students also receive a booklet with programme and host country information, such as instructions for applying for a transport pass or SIM card. These measures aim to ensure inclusive participation and smooth integration into the academic and cultural environments of the programme.

    Academic tutors and buddy programme

Academic tutors and buddies (Master’s or PhD student) are assigned for each student.

Academic tutorsAcademic tutors (one from each of the pathway institutions) will help the students to make choices related to the course and possible careers.
BuddiesThe buddies provide insights into, and understanding of the life, culture and learning environment in the host country. Buddies are a source of support and information on all aspects, from academic to personal. They introduce incoming students to the social and academic life.
